About The Position

Lead engaging after-school tennis classes for students in grades K–5 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Create a fun, supportive environment where children ages 5–10 can learn, play, stay active, and develop their skills. Classes last 1–1.5 hours and begin between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The schedule is flexible, with work on two or more days per week and a maximum of 2–5 hours weekly. A two-day training session is provided. Candidates must be local to the US or have a valid working visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Requirements

• At least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
• Must be local to the US or possess a valid working visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience teaching or playing tennis.
• USPTA or PTR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage classes of 8–16 students ages 5–10.
• Deliver engaging lessons using provided lesson plans.
• Attend a two-day training session.
• Set up and transport tennis equipment for classes.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Communicate positively with parents and school staff.
• Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.
• Take photos of students during sessions to showcase their progress.
