About The Position
Maple Lake Academy is seeking passionate and compassionate individuals to serve as Staff Mentors for neurodiverse youth, specifically teenage boys with Autism. This role involves supporting students in a structured, supportive, and growth-focused school and community environment. The position offers the opportunity to provide classroom support during school hours and structured support during non-school hours, build meaningful connections with students, collaborate with a dedicated team, and guide students in their academic and personal development, including life and social skills. The work is described as rewarding and challenging, offering a chance to mentor, model, and make a significant impact. The academy values progress, connection, and individualized growth, and offers flexible or set shifts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be 21 years or older (to be able to drive company vehicles).
- Acceptable Driving Record.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon accepting an offer.
