About The Position

Innovative Care Services is hiring a Mental Health Technician to support youth with mental health concerns, including social anxiety and challenging behaviors. The role focuses on helping clients overcome barriers, integrate into the community, and develop appropriate social behaviors and essential life skills. It offers paid training, growth opportunities, and experience in the human services field. Hours vary based on program and client needs, with every other weekend and rotating holidays required; hours may increase during holiday breaks and summer months. Pay is $16.00–$19.00 per hour, based on degree level.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with various mental health diagnoses.
• Help integrate clients into the community and teach essential life skills.
• Assist with medication management, if applicable to the program, and link clients to necessary resources.
• Serve as a positive role model for clients.
• Meet with the Mental Health Professional as needed for supervision support.
• Participate in case management and team meetings as requested.
• Complete documentation to CCS standards within 24 hours of client contact.
• Complete required trainings related to degree level.
• Complete annual continuing education and ongoing training as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
