Greenwich House is seeking a dynamic Youth Mental Health Counselor to join our Queens-based Family Justice Center. This compassionate and experienced Youth Mental Health Counselor will serve children at the Family Justice Center through mentorship and finding resources they may need. The Youth Mental Health Counselor is responsible for helping children gain access to the services they need while allowing them to feel safe and supported. The Youth Mental Health Counselor will provide individual counseling to children and teenagers in collaboration with their parents or guardians as well as on-site partners to create a safe and supportive atmosphere as they navigate challenges related to exposure to Domestic Violence. Additionally, you will provide support for planning and conducting youth activity services and events for children and families.
