Youth Harvest Field Crew Member
About The Position
A variety of positions are offered to our minor employees. Field: Two employees will hop on a harvester, the harvester moves all day around Enfield Farms Fields. One person will inspect the berries that are being harvested as well as filling up the the flats to the limit instructed. The other person will remove the flat filled with berries and will stack the flat in the space instructed. This person will also make sure that the filled has enough empty flats at all times. Production: Front end Clean-up, Back end Clean-up, Checkweigher, Case Closer, Drums: placing lids and/or liners, Case Filler, Flat Jammer, Flat Washing, Line Inspections (fresh). Everyone gets trained on their first day.
Requirements
- Ages 14-15: $16.15 per hour
- Ages 16-17: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Inspect berries being harvested and fill flats to the instructed limit.
- Remove filled flats and stack them in the instructed space.
- Ensure a supply of empty flats is always available.
- Perform front end clean-up, back end clean-up, checkweighing, case closing, placing lids and/or liners on drums, case filling, flat jamming, flat washing, and line inspections (fresh).
