About The Position

We're looking for an enthusiastic coach to teach a variety of youth enrichment programs for children ages 18 months through elementary school. Programs include Amazing Athletes, Super Soccer Stars, Karate Zoo, Hip Hop Dance, and Little Medical School. Instructors will teach at least two of these programs. The position is part-time, offering $24.00 per hour for 15-20 hours per week, with flexible hours available Monday-Friday (morning, afternoon, & evening) and Saturday mornings. Travel between various program locations is required.

Requirements

• Loves working with children ages 18 months through elementary school.
• Has a positive, energetic, and outgoing personality.
• Is comfortable leading groups of children independently.
• Enjoys teaching a variety of subjects including sports, soccer, karate, dance and STEM enrichment.
• Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel to program locations.
• 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of youth enrichment programs for children ages 18 months through elementary school.
• Introduce young children to the fundamentals of 10 different sports (Amazing Athletes).
• Teach age-appropriate soccer skills while building confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game (Super Soccer Stars).
• Lead fun introductory karate classes focused on discipline, respect, coordination, and self-confidence (Karate Zoo).
• Lead mimic me style dance moves while they learn to keep the beat, flexibility and build their confidence (Hip Hop Dance).
• Engage children in exciting, hands-on STEM and medical-themed activities that spark curiosity and inspire learning (Little Medical School).
• Travel between various program locations.
