About The Position

The Summer Youth Engagement Coordinator supports the delivery of high-quality, inclusive summer programming by helping create a positive, structured, and engaging environment for youth. This role focuses on social-emotional learning (SEL), behavior support, and direct youth engagement. This position serves as an on-site support role—helping staff respond to student needs, maintain strong program culture, and ensure all youth remain meaningfully engaged. This role does not supervise staff but acts as a key support in maintaining program quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Experience in youth programming or related field.
• Understanding of social-emotional learning (SEL) principles.
• Skills in behavior support.
• Ability to engage youth directly.
• Capacity to work as on-site support.
• Ability to help staff respond to student needs.
• Skills in maintaining program culture.
• Ability to ensure meaningful youth engagement.
• Commitment to inclusive hiring practices.
