About The Position

Gospel Hills Community Church, a member of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, is seeking a part-time, paid Youth Director to lead and grow its ministry for students in grades 6–12. The role focuses on discipleship, teaching the Word of God, and relational ministry with students and families. It offers an opportunity to shepherd a youth ministry while preparing for long-term vocational ministry; for the right candidate, it may lead to licensing and eventual ordination through The Alliance. The Youth Director will lead weekly youth gatherings, build relationships with students and parents, organize retreats, camps, and outreach events, and recruit and equip adult leaders and volunteers. The position also involves developing follow-up, communication, and discipleship systems and collaborating with pastoral staff to align youth ministry with the broader church vision. The church offers pastoral leadership development, a potential pathway toward Alliance licensure and ordination, and support from its staff team and elder board. The candidate must attend Sunday service weekly and youth meetings. The position is located in Glendora, California, in a suburban church setting.
