You will be responsible for leading and engaging groups of children independently, ensuring a fun, safe, and structured environment. Collaboration with fellow staff is key to ensuring every child has a great experience daily. You will also deliver hands-on, enriching program content and attend all required training sessions.

No prior experience required – we train you fully.
A Genuine passion for youth and community is what matters most
Comfortable sitting and standing for extended periods throughout the day.
Able to lift up to 20 lbs when setting up materials or supplies.
Able to move fast and intervene calmly to keep everyone safe.
Able to read situations and act independently without waiting for direction.
Reliable transportation – able to get yourself to your assigned site consistently.

Responsibilities

Step in across multiple program sites in your region as needed, bringing the same AYS energy and consistency wherever you show up.
Lead with positivity and bring the AYS spirit to everything you do.
Independently lead and engage a group of kids, keeping things fun, safe, and on track.
Collaborate with fellow staff to make sure every kid has a great experience every day.
Deliver hands-on, enriching program content kids actually look forward to.
Attend all required training.
