About The Position

At The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services (CHOR YFS), we're building a team of compassionate professionals dedicated to helping adolescents overcome challenges and build brighter futures. We provide innovative behavioral health and residential treatment services for children and families. Our programs serve more than 650 children and families each year by providing treatment-focused care that empowers youth to succeed. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or at least two years of college in a social or human services-related field; or High school diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years of experience working with youth.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license required.
Must successfully complete criminal background (including FBI) and child abuse clearances.
Basic computer skills required.
Flexible availability required.
Must be able to work all shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide daily supervision, mentoring, and guidance to residents.
Build trusting and supportive relationships through effective communication and positive role modeling.
Maintain the safety and security of residents and the facility.
Supervise residents during school, recreation, community outings, and daily activities.
Collaborate with clinical staff and case managers to develop behavioral goals.
Encourage positive decision-making and independent living skills.
Maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) and behavioral documentation.
Record resident progress toward treatment goals.
Participate in training and follow structured program policies and procedures.
