About The Position

Adelphoi is hiring youth counselors for their group homes in Latrobe, PA. This role involves supervising and mentoring youth in a residential setting, maintaining safety and order, and participating in de-escalation and emergency response procedures. The position offers a 4-week rotating schedule including day, afternoon, and weekend shifts. Adelphoi is a major player in counseling, residential, adoption, foster care, and educational services for youth and families, with over 50 years of experience and numerous locations throughout Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Ability to safely perform physical interventions and restraints with individuals who may weigh 200+ pounds, using approved techniques.
• Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout the shift.
• Successfully complete and maintain certification in Adelphoi’s crisis intervention / restraint training.
• Pass any required physical abilities assessment.
