Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a closely related field, along with experience working with children, youth, families, or vulnerable populations.
- Four years of directly related professional experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience that provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job will also be considered.
- Valid Driver's license required

- Experience working with justice-involved or at-risk youth
- Experience in residential treatment or behavioral health settings
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation training
- Counseling, mentoring, or case management experience
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to youth in a residential treatment setting
- Facilitate treatment groups and skill-building activities
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans
- Conduct interviews and assessments to gather information related to treatment planning
- Maintain case records, progress reports, treatment documentation, and classification information
- Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with therapists, educators, case managers, and facility staff
- Monitor and support youth participation in educational, vocational, and treatment programming
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor to youth
- Communicate with families, guardians, Juvenile Service Officers, attorneys, schools, and community partners
- Assist with discharge planning, transition services, and treatment recommendations
- Supervise recreational activities, outings, and structured programming
- Maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for youth and staff
