YOUTH CARE WORKER Part Time
About The Position
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Part Time Youth Care Worker at Daytona Juvenile Residential Facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. This role involves providing safety and around-the-clock supervision for youth in the program, creating a supportive atmosphere, monitoring and documenting student behaviors and activities, participating in and assisting with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities, and collaborating with professional staff to meet student treatment goals. The company has a 40-year history of improving the lives of youth and is looking for passionate advocates to continue this legacy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years of age
- At least 1 year of equivalent experience
- Current State Driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record for the past three years
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program.
- Provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.
- Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
- Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
- Work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment.
