About The Position
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Youth Care Worker - PRN at Fort Myers Academy in Fort Myers, Florida. Ft. Myers Academy offers comprehensive care and treatment, specializing in evidence-based intensive mental health services. The academy is dedicated to providing high-quality care in a serene and supportive environment, designed to promote healing and recovery for individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Ft. Myers Academy ensures that each client receives personalized, effective treatment tailored to their specific needs. Requirements
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Have one-year experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care position OR 60 hours of college education.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour security and supervision to always ensure the safety of our Youth.
- Monitor and document behaviors.
- Monitor and join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time.
- Assist and mentor the youth while they learn and develop within the program.
