About The Position

Pathway Family Services – Where Support, Growth, and Purpose Come Together. We are currently seeking Full-time Youth Care Workers to join our Psychiatric Residential Treatment team. If you are 21 or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent, you’re already on your way. We’ll teach you everything else you need to know. Your role is more than supervision—it’s about being a steady, supportive presence in a young person’s life.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping at-risk youth
• Reliable team players who can also work independently
• Motivated to learn and grow—no prior experience required

Responsibilities

• Start the day by greeting residents and setting a positive, encouraging tone
• Lead engaging activities—from group discussions to creative projects
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to help youth build healthy habits and coping skills
• Reinforce positive behaviors and ensure participation in daily programming
• Document progress and collaborate with the treatment team on individualized care plans
• Assist with daily living tasks such as meal supervision or laundry
• Transport residents to appointments or activities while ensuring safety and structure
