About The Position
The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is currently seeking part time sports enthusiasts to help with our basketball program! Looking for a Basketball Instructor who has either played or refereed basketball before. The pay range for this position is $15-$17 per hour based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for someone that can work nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Played or refereed basketball before.
- Know the rules of basketball.
- Work well with young people.
- Be able to multitask.
- Communicate effectively with parents and children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safe and enjoyable basketball clinics.
- Work weekday evenings and weekends to help facilitate basketball practices, games, and clinics.
- Create lesson plans for youth ages 4-11.
- Set up and clean up materials.
- Provide leadership to other basketball staff.
