About The Position

This Youth Apprentice CNA position is for a Medical Surgical Unit. The role involves providing patient care as assigned and per routine, according to the educational scope, standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures. Responsibilities include answering call lights promptly, documenting care provided, maintaining a clean work and patient environment, managing supplies (scanning, stocking, ordering, and disposing of expired items), floating to various units as needed, and participating in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

Completion of CNA certificate program
Participating in a Youth Apprentice program through your high school.
Current CNA Certificate in applicable state.
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
