This role involves supervising and guiding residents through their daily routines, utilizing behavioral modification practices. The Youth Advocate will counsel residents on various life skills, provide crisis intervention, and oversee homework and study periods. Responsibilities also include meal preparation and monitoring, documenting resident progress, and facilitating recreational and creative arts therapy. The position requires assisting residents with medication self-administration, performing emergency drills, and escorting residents to appointments. Adherence to program policies and appropriate use of resources are essential.
