About The Position
This position is responsible for all duties related to youth activities and sports at the club, including but not limited to set-up, event implementation, and clean-up. Supervising younger members in a safe, nurturing way is essential to job function.
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be willing to get CPR certified early into employment
- Knowledge of office equipment
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work outdoors as needed
- Must be able to work in hot and muggy conditions on continuous basis
- Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
Nice To Haves
- A friendly outgoing demeanor is a plus
- Childcare experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with set-up and decoration of all events
- Greets members and guests in a professional friendly way
- Ensure knowledge of all safety and first aid protocol procedures
- Ensures knowledge of company policies and procedures as it refers to Nona Crew department
- Supervises children when in our care and adheres to all rules regarding our younger members
- Assists parents when signing their children in and out, including checking identification when necessary
- Handles proper care of all materials for events and stores them after
- Ensures knowledge of all children, allergies, special needs, and staff during events while in our care
- Communicates with and informs immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and reacts appropriately
- Moves furniture when necessary ie: Kid tables and chairs
- Maintains confidentiality as it relates to our member’s family information
- Perform routine safety checks of areas for events before we begin
- Attends all department staff meetings and trainings
- Sign for vendor deliveries on an as needed basis
- Perform routine office tasks copying, calculating, etc.
- Engages each child during activity time
- Assist with dinner service as it relates to our events: Kid buffet
- Assist with all other duties as needed or directed by senior management
