About The Position

The University of Maine at Presque Isle is seeking a YourPace Admissions Specialist to join a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to providing proactive, student-centered support to adult undergraduate and graduate students in our competency-based education programs. This full-time, remote position plays a key role in guiding prospective students from inquiry to enrollment while supporting a seamless admissions experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and collaborating across departments to support student success. This is a fully remote position with work hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST, or as determined by the Vice President of Enrollment Services. Occasional travel to the University of Maine at Presque Isle may be required for training or university events.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates with an associate's degree combined with related experience in admissions, tutoring, counseling, customer service, or sales will be considered.
Access to a stable and reliable internet connection with speeds of at least 25 Mbps; hotspots are not acceptable for this position.
A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is also required to support confidential phone and Zoom conversations with students in accordance with university policy and FERPA regulations.
The workspace must be able to accommodate a full workstation setup, including two monitors, docking stations, and other required equipment.
Must complete an annual Remote Work Agreement Form as a condition of employment.
