About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education. The teacher will plan, supervise, and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy. The teacher will maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class and communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations. The Malvern School is dedicated to educating young children through innovative programming, with a focus on a quality, child-centered philosophy and clean, attractive facilities. Our curriculum is designed to meet or exceed the standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
  • Maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
  • Communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
