About The Position

Yoga & Pilates Instructor Nirvana | Northern Liberties /Fishtown, Philadelphia, PA Nirvana is expanding and opening their new full-service wellness destination designed to help our guests feel their absolute best—inside and out. As we grow our team, we are looking for an experienced, passionate, and polished Yoga and/or Pilates Instructors to join us in creating an elevated wellness experience unlike anything else in the area. This role is ideal for an instructors who are knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about helping clients move better, feel stronger, and connect with their bodies in a supportive and welcoming environment. The Opportunity As a Yoga and/or Pilates Instructor at Nirvana, you will lead engaging, thoughtfully designed movement experiences for our guests. You will have the opportunity to work with clients of varying experience levels and goals while creating an environment that feels both luxurious and approachable. We are looking for candidates who brings strong technical knowledge, positive energy, professionalism, and a true commitment to the guest experience.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of professional experience teaching yoga and/or Pilates
Current certification in the applicable discipline(s)
Strong knowledge of anatomy, movement mechanics, and safe exercise practices
Experience working with a variety of fitness levels and abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Warm, approachable, and professional demeanor
Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
Ability to create a personalized experience while maintaining a calm and welcoming presence
Passion for wellness, movement, and helping others feel their best

Nice To Haves

Experience teaching both Yoga and Pilates
Additional certifications in mobility, stretching, breath work, meditation,or other complementary wellness modalities
Experience working in a luxury spa, wellness, fitness, or hospitality environment
Experience working with clients seeking movement for recovery, stress reduction, strength, mobility, or overall wellness

Responsibilities

Lead safe, engaging, and thoughtfully structured yoga and/or Pilates classes
Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for guests of all experience levels
Provide appropriate modifications and adjustments based on individual abilities and needs
Maintain a strong understanding of proper alignment, technique, breath work, and movement principles
Build genuine relationships with guests and encourage continued wellness through consistent practice
Educate clients on movement, mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness
Maintain a polished and professional presence that reflects the Nirvana brand
Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes and appointments
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting studio environment
Communicate effectively with the Nirvana team regarding client needs and scheduling
Follow all Nirvana policies, safety standards, and studio protocols
Support an elevated guest experience from arrival through completion of each session
