About The Position

That’s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care. The Yoga Teacher is a member of a multidisciplinary team that uses their training and knowledge in yoga to plan and lead experiential yoga groups for clients receiving eating disorder treatment. Yoga groups integrate body awareness, mindfulness, meditation, breathing practices, yoga postures, and relaxation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 200 RYT certification required through Yoga Alliance
  • Maintain RYT certification through Yoga Alliance
  • Current Basic Life Support certification may be required (American Heart Association) within 14 days from date of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Training in trauma-sensitive or trauma-informed yoga preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and leading yoga groups for clients with eating disorders in an Adult residential setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain timely documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of yoga practice through self-study and CEU opportunities.
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment for yoga practice.
  • Maintain and manage yoga supplies for the site.
