About The Position

Equinox's location in Berkeley is currently seeking Yoga Instructors. The position entails delivering the Equinox Experience to members in each class, adhering to the description of the class and modifying intensity for participants when necessary, ensuring classes begin and end on time, teaching respective classes on a regular basis with minimal subbing, and communicating with the Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing. This is not a complete description, and certain responsibilities may additionally be presented along the course of employment.

Requirements

• Must possess a current Yoga Certification or a degree in a related field
• Have experience teaching
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
• Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
• Must have a legal right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class
• Adhere to the description of the class and modify the intensity for participants when necessary
• Ensure class begins and ends on time
• Teach respective classes on a regular basis and keep subbing to a minimum
• Communicate with Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing
