About The Position

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic and dependable After-School Yoga Instructors to lead fun, age-appropriate yoga and mindfulness classes for elementary-aged students at Oak View Elementary School in Silver Spring, MD. If you're passionate about helping children improve their flexibility, balance, focus, confidence, and overall well-being through movement and mindfulness, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Experience working with children is a plus
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Reliable transportation to Oak View Elementary School
• Dependable and punctual
• Must successfully complete the required Montgomery County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging yoga and mindfulness sessions
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum
• Teach age-appropriate poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Promote wellness, focus, confidence, and self-awareness
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
