About The Position
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a certified Yoga Instructor who is passionate about transforming lives through yoga. The ideal candidate will understand the impact of a yoga class in engaging members and inspiring them towards a healthier life. This role involves connecting with members, leading safe and effective classes for all abilities, and serving as a substitute instructor.
Requirements
- Recognized Yoga certification
- Team player with a commanding, positive presence and passion for connecting with members, aiding wellness, and building relationships
- The ability to adapt your class/style for the members in front of you
Responsibilities
- Finding new and engaging ways to connect with our members during class
- Instructing an effective, safe class for all abilities in the gym
- Willing and able to serve as a substitute for fellow instructors
- To be proud to wear your Y gear and be an advocate for us
