About The Position

Equinox's locations in Nashville, TN are seeking Yoga Instructors. The position entails delivering the Equinox Experience to members in each class, adhering to class descriptions, and modifying intensity for participants as needed. Instructors are expected to ensure classes begin and end on time, teach their respective classes regularly with minimal subbing, and communicate with the Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing.

Requirements

• Must possess a current certification in their discipline
• Have experience teaching
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
• Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications for all populations
• Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
• Must have access to regular email and phone communication
• Must have a legal right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class
• Adhere to the description of the class and modify the intensity for participants when necessary
• Ensure class begins and ends on time
• Teach respective classes on a regular basis and keep subbing to a minimum
• Communicate with Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing
