About The Position

This is a contract position for a Yearbook Advisor responsible for overseeing a program with over 150 students. The advisor will report to the Building Principal and act as a liaison between coaches and administration. Key duties include communicating with participants, parents, and administrators, upholding a high code of conduct, following safety procedures, and adhering to NSBSD and specific activity policies. The advisor will also be responsible for the annual review of the Coaches’ and the Parent and Student Handbooks, ensuring student welfare is prioritized in all decisions, and completing mandatory trainings by the first contract day. Specific duties include managing the 'Battle of the Books' program and the 'Range' program for 150+ students, with print and page requirements determined annually. An Activity Report with photos must be submitted.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required
Ability to pass a background Check

Nice To Haves

AK Driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

Turn in Activity Report, attach photos (if any).
