About The Position

Responsible for timely and accurate pulling and return of inventory. The schedule for this position is Friday-Tuesday, 7am-4pm. Key responsibilities include accurately pulling bolts to fill orders, delivering them to the cutting area, and troubleshooting incomplete orders before the end of the shift. The role also involves returning materials to their proper locations to maintain inventory integrity, restocking inventory from the back warehouse, and organizing bolts and pieces. Additionally, the Yardage Order Puller will locate misplaced bolts and items, and may be assigned specific responsibilities such as shipping orders, completing orders on the hold shelf, fixing irons and electric cutters, and maintaining the organization of the storage warehouse. Special warehouse projects, maintaining neat work areas, and general housekeeping for a safe workplace are also part of the role. The position requires ensuring minimal errors and meeting designated individual and/or group shipping quotas, which may be daily and/or hourly. Other responsibilities may be assigned, including working in alternative departments as needed.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass background check and drug test
Reading and comprehending customer orders, policies and procedures
Acute attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient with basic computer applications
Basic math (division, addition, subtraction) to calculate yardage and order amounts
Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach
The employee must be able to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 120 minutes
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
The use of Personal Protective Equipment is required per the Safety Manual

Responsibilities

Accurately pull bolts needed to fill orders and deliver to cutting area
Troubleshoot the completion of incomplete orders before the end of your shift
Return materials to the proper location in order to maintain integrity of inventory system
Restock inventory from back warehouse as required
Straighten bolts and organize pieces to keep all inventory neat
Locate bolts and items that are misplaced
Specific responsibilities such as shipping orders, completing orders on the hold shelf, fixing irons and electric cutters, and maintaining the organization and order of the storage warehouse may be assigned as necessary
Special warehouse projects as needed
Maintain neat and orderly work areas
General housekeeping as required to maintain a safe workplace
Ensure that errors are minimal, and the frequency meets within acceptable guidelines
Achieve designated individual and/or group shipping quotas
Other responsibilities as assigned, including, but not limited to, working in alternative departments as needed
