About The Position

The Yard Worker organizes equipment and materials, loads and unloads materials, performs basic maintenance on machinery and company facilities, and may assist with rigging operations. The role supports safe, efficient yard operations and the company's larger projects. Requirements

Two or more years of experience working in a yard or facilities environment.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
Ability to use small hand tools and operate machinery.
Self-motivated, with the ability to accomplish tasks independently without direct supervision.
Maintain an excellent safety record.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical abilities test.

Nice To Haves

Safety-related training, such as OSHA 10 or OSHA 30; the company is willing to train.

Responsibilities

Arrange equipment and materials in the yard to optimize space and facilitate efficient operations.
Operate equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers.
Inspect the yard regularly to identify and address safety hazards or maintenance issues.
Perform basic maintenance on company facilities, including buildings, structures, and grounds.
Assist with maintenance and repair of company equipment, including tools, machinery, and vehicles.
Assist with loading and unloading materials.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Possibly assist with rigging operations.
