Requirements
- Hands-on forklift operating experience in a lumberyard, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50–100 lbs repeatedly, using proper lifting techniques.
- Strong basic math, reading, and writing skills to process orders and complete daily logs.
- Reliable team player with strong communication skills and an energetic, positive attitude.
- Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and organize building materials across the yard and warehouse.
- Assist builders and walk-in customers with fast, accurate material pickups and order loading.
- Double-check delivery orders for complete accuracy and assist with processing returned inventory.
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and secure while completing daily equipment pre-operation safety checks.
- Work directly with supervisors and yard crews to keep daily operations moving efficiently.
