About The Position

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Yard and Warehouse Receiver position ensures all inbound materials are accurate and of high quality for all our customers.

Requirements

Forklift experience required.
Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons
Ability to adapt to change.

General shipping and receiving experience an asset.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound shipments following our detailed process to ensure accuracy and quality.
Maintain personal and company quality assurance standards as set in corporate program.
Stock items are to be rotated when they are put away.
Keep yard and warehouses clean of debris and well organized.
Provide quality service to customers.
Crosstrain and assist in other yard roles as instructed by supervisor.
Conduct daily check of forklifts to ensure safe operation; report required maintenance or damage.
Work with the Receiving and Warehouse Specialist to ensure materials are stored in safe and proper locations in both the yard and inside warehouses.
Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructed.
