About The Position

Ditch Witch West, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Yard/Utility Person to join their team in Newark, CA. This is a temporary, entry-level position with great upward mobility potential within the store. Pape’ invests in employee growth through robust training programs and continuous support. The Utility/Yard member will ensure shipping and receiving needs are met and that the yard and equipment are organized, clean, and ready for customers. This position is temporary and will end at the employer’s discretion.

Requirements

• Self-starter drive who can work without direct supervision
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to frequently lift and move 50 lbs
• Standard Counterbalance forklift experience
• Driver’s license with a good driving record
• Computer literacy (outlook, check emails, Teams messages)

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment check-ins
• Steam clean, wash, and fuel equipment
• Perform light mechanical work
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Deliver and/or pick up parts and goods
• Assist the Parts, Service and Sales departments
