About The Position

Nutrition 101 is hiring a Yard Truck Operator to join their Processing Team in Pendleton, Indiana. This role involves operating a yard truck to move trailers throughout the facility, supporting production operations by positioning trailers at processing bays, transporting completed trailers to the wash bay, and staging clean trailers. When trailer movement is not needed, the operator will assist with forklift operation and other production support activities. The position offers a stable career with a four-day workweek, opportunities to work outdoors and around industrial operations, and plays an important role in keeping production moving.   • Ability to safely operate industrial vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and other required safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous yard truck (yard jockey/yard spotter) experience.
  • Forklift operating experience.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Safely move trailers throughout the facility using a yard truck.
  • Back trailers into designated processing bays.
  • Transport completed trailers to the wash bay.
  • Stage trailers throughout the yard for efficient production flow.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and support plant operations as needed.
  • Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Follow all company safety policies and food safety requirements.
  • Work closely with the Processing Team to keep production running smoothly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
