About The Position
Prysmian is seeking a Yard Truck Driver to operate a yard truck and ensure plants are supplied with necessary materials for wire manufacturing. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of production within the facility. The position offers a night shift schedule with training on the day shift. Requirements
- Strong driving record
- CDL Class A
- High School diploma
Responsibilities
- Operate yard truck to move product to and from plants.
- Ensure plants are supplied with copper rod and material for wire manufacturing.
- Keep landing gear raised while moving product.
- Notify management of any necessary repairs for the truck and trailers.
- Conduct regular inspections of the truck and trailers.
- Back trailers up to docks on a regular basis.
- Keep trucks detailed.
