About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A Yard Drivers. This role involves driving late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. The trucks are equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. Drivers will operate automatic yard trucks pulling 53' trailers. The position is local, home daily, with no touch freight and drop & hook operations within a closed yard. A consistent schedule and productivity incentive are provided.
Requirements
- CDL Class A
- Ability to drive automatic yard trucks pulling 53' trailers
- Ability to couple and uncouple trailers
- Ability to chock trailers
Responsibilities
- Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
- Couple and uncouple trailers
- Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulled from doors
- Complete approximately 50 yard moves per day while maintaining safe and efficient operations
