About The Position

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard Technician in Idaho Falls, ID. We are looking for someone experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and passionate about safety, quality and customer service. As a Yard Technician, your responsibilities will include meticulously washing and detailing rental equipment before delivery, inspecting small equipment for quality, managing the hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items, and enhancing the overall visual appeal of the yard.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
• A strong focus on safety

Nice To Haves

• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays
• Ability to complete other duties as assigned
• Ability to comprehend job-related duties in both verbal and written formats
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times

Responsibilities

• Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
• Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent-ready
• Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard
