About The Position

SRM Concrete is seeking a Yard Team Member to maintain a clean, safe, and organized concrete plant. This role involves hands-on work, assisting with material handling, supporting plant operations, performing routine maintenance, monitoring inventory, and adhering to safety protocols. Requirements

• Strong work ethic and enjoyment of physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and tools, or willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company protocols.
• Ability to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Yard Team Member, Yard Laborer, Yard Worker, or in construction/landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Keep the yard and plant areas clean and organized by sweeping, shoveling, and performing general clean-up tasks.
• Assist with loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Support plant operations by providing manual labor wherever needed.
• Help with routine maintenance tasks like pressure washing, organizing supplies, and general upkeep.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, and inform the supervisor when stock is low.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Complete other duties as assigned to ensure efficient plant operation.
