About The Position

As a member of Johnsonville’s supply chain team, the Yard Support member helps ensure products are delivered accurately and on time while supporting a seamless logistics process. The role assists operations in obtaining the lowest industry cost and works with internal partners, customers, and vendors. The position is based at the Countryside location and pays $27.88–$29.17 per hour. The schedule is Monday from 4:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Overtime may be required as production demands. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL driver license.
Acceptable driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to use MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and Access, and Outlook.
Self-motivated.
Ability to succeed in a team-oriented environment.
Desire to satisfy customers by providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to accurately maintain paperwork associated with the position.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Strong communication skills; radio communication is very important.
Must be proficient in English based on business necessity.
Ability to pass a pre-employment, post-offer drug screen, physical, background check, MVR, and PSP.

Responsibilities

Move semi-trailers to and from the Riverside, Countryside, and Meadowside operations grounds, including between the yard and plant docks for receiving, shipping, and trucking.
Wash tractors and trailers daily.
Perform general trailer operations, including fueling, unloading, and temperature checks.
Perform other duties, including yard security checks and trucking functions.
Maintain trailers and perform general trailer upkeep.
