Requirements

• 5 years of work experience in related fields.
• 2 + years of leadership experience.
• Must have a valid CDL License.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper execution of logistics activities and supervision of the yard site, ensuring scheduled jobs are completed on time and correctly.
• Manage NewCold yard inventory and team scheduling while promoting safety.
• Audit and verify that empty and loaded trailers are in the correct spots in the yard.
• Manage/Conduct trailer movements to and from the dock to the drop yard.
• Conduct yard inspections daily, ensuring products are loaded, unloaded, and stored in a timely manner according to customer performance standards.
• Own the drop yard.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the yard.
• Optimize efficiency in yard movements and track equipment via NewCold’s Yard Management System.
• Control product flow for the yard management system.
• Implement remedial actions to maintain the flow of product.
• Maintain autonomous action to prevent accidents.
• Act in line with company and customer procedures, ensuring quality of product is always maintained according to customer requirements.
