About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yard Spotter to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for safely moving trailers within the yard to ensure efficient workflow and on-time operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of driving experience preferred
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Basic mechanical knowledge (trailer issues, inspections, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (walking, bending, climbing)
Responsibilities
- Transport trailers in and out of dock doors and designated yard locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Monitor and track trailer locations (empty and loaded) within the yard
- Follow supervisor instructions to move trailers as needed
- Attend safety meetings and follow all company safety protocols
