About The Position

This position is responsible for moving trailers within the yard and to and from the dock doors. The Yard Spotter Driver will ensure efficient operations by safely and accurately spotting trailers. This role requires a strong understanding of safe driving practices and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Valid driver's license required.
Strong understanding of safe driving practices.
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for completing logs and trailer movements.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb in and out of equipment frequently.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
CDL Class A preferred (or required, if applicable to your operation).
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating tractor-trailers, yard trucks, or similar equipment preferred.
Experience safely maneuvering trailers in a busy warehouse or manufacturing yard.
Strong understanding of DOT regulations (if applicable).
