About The Position
Yard Operator III operates machinery and/or performs tasks used in the production yard by performing the following duties:
Requirements
- Operates the pole shaver and related system components in a productive, efficient and safe manner
- Operates wheel loader or forklifts
- Responsible for inspection, grading, and manufacturing of barkies and shaved poles for inventory
Responsibilities
- Manufacture round stock products to established specifications in a productive, efficient and safe manner
- Assist in inspection, grading, and manufacturing of barkies and shaved poles for inventory
- Participates and contributes to company safety program
- Performs other related duties as assigned
