About The Position
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring immediately for a Full-Time Yard Laborer / Diversion Specialist. Our motto is “Want More, Work Happy”. Requirements
- 21+ years of age for driver positions (required for insurance purposes)
- Valid standard driver’s license & good driving record
- A positive, friendly attitude
- Detailed oriented, ability to follow instructions
- Physically able to lift/carry 50 pounds regularly, up to 75lb occasionally, 100+ pounds as a team lift repeatedly over a full shift
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Alongside Truck Team Members, Recycling and processing knowledge of production processes, process flow and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety procedures
- Conserves material and the ability to identify different metals, electronics, and liquids to appropriately sort and recycle
- Sort and organize items by type and condition
