About The Position

FNS is hiring a full-time Yard Operations Manager for its battery storage yard in Matteson, Illinois. The location may change within the surrounding area. The manager will oversee daily yard operations, coordinating inbound and outbound transportation, battery inventory, customer deliveries, safety compliance, and yard personnel. The role requires experience in yard or warehouse operations, with battery or hazardous materials logistics preferred, and fluency in Korean and English.

The base salary range is $110,000–$130,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in yard or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation coordination, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to battery storage and transportation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and standard office software.
• Fluency in Korean and English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the battery storage yard.
• Coordinate pickup of finished battery products from the manufacturing plant.
• Oversee inbound transportation and unloading of batteries at the storage yard.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure inventory records are accurate.
• Schedule and oversee outbound trucking services in accordance with LG's sales orders.
• Ensure shipments are dispatched on time in accordance with customer delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements, particularly those related to hazardous materials handling.
• Lead and manage yard personnel to maintain high productivity and operational excellence.
• Communicate with relevant stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
