About The Position
American Concrete Products, a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products, is seeking a Yard Manager for their Kansas City, KS location. This role involves working directly with the Plant Manager to ensure proper personnel allocation and to manage the scheduling of incoming finished products and outgoing loads. The Yard Manager will serve as the liaison between the office staff and outside operators.
Requirements
- 2+ years of recent Foreman, Superintendent or other leadership position
- 5+ years of equipment operating experience (Forklifts, Skid Loaders, Lifts, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work outside for most of your shift
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Make sure all personnel are allocated correctly
- Work on scheduling of incoming finished product and outgoing loads
- Act as the liaison between office staff and operators outside
