Yard Maintenance Technician (Summer Position) We are looking for a Yard Maintenance Technician to join our Summit Truck & Equipment Repair team in Salmo and Castlegar, BC. Requirements
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to travel between multiple work locations in Salmo and Castlegar
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Capable of performing manual labour
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in an industrial environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Safety-conscious with a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Operate a weed eater and perform general grounds maintenance
- Wash and clean trucks, equipment, and yard assets
- Water trees and maintain landscaped areas
- Perform general yard clean-up and organization
- Assist with maintaining a safe, tidy, and professional worksite
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with the service and operations team
