About The Position

The Yard/Maintenance position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the store, yard, and equipment display. This role involves keeping the store looking good, equipment clean and arranged, and monitoring equipment coming and going. The position requires a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard.

Requirements

Maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to work hard at all times.
Punctual attendance and readiness to work.
Ability to identify damaged goods and shortages upon delivery and note them on the BOL.
Ability to process equipment transfers without errors.
Ability to keep equipment inventory neatly aligned and clean.
Ability to keep the display area full.
Ability to keep the property looking good, with a swept lot and no trash or clutter.
Willingness to fill-in to help in other areas when needed and assigned.
Fulfilling described responsibilities, duties, and Company policies and procedures.
Stay current with Forklift Certifications.

Responsibilities

Safely loading and unloading trucks while checking for accuracy and damage.
Checking all equipment in and out, verifying serial numbers.
Completing DAR’s and inspections on all new equipment arrivals.
Performing PDI’s as assigned by the Service Manager.
Repair of Mules/RTVs as assigned by the Service Manager.
Setup and detailing of equipment as assigned by the Service Manager.
Keeping equipment clean and arranged in the yard with an appealing display.
Keeping GT vehicles clean as assigned by the Service Manager.
Keeping the property maintained, including weed removal, clutter and trash removal.
Stocking and maintaining clean restrooms and breakroom.
Emptying trash inside/outside and breaking down cardboard daily.
Maintaining drinking and water coolers.
Sweeping and mopping floors weekly, including the shop.
Cleaning the steam rack weekly.
Cleaning windows monthly.
Staying current with Forklift Certifications.
Running errands or making deliveries as needed (at the discretion of management).
Performing other duties as assigned by various managers.
