The yard loader will complete the required work assigned for the day including following written work instructions, verbal instructions, and other tasks as assigned in support of boat production and shipping needs. Position is an outdoor yard position, and this person must be able to work outdoors, in all elements, in and out of boats, and on and off of semi-trailers as needed to support the loading and outbound shipping process. The yard loader will be part of a world class team. This person will be self-motivated and will understand the value of a strong work ethic, teamwork, and integrity in the workplace. Requirements

Able to use cordless tools and hand tools to install bracing and dunnage.
Understanding of proper tiedown methods to secure loads to flatbed trailers.
Able to communicate with others.
Able to read and understand work orders, manifests, bills of lading, and work instructions.
Have attention to detail and the ability to work safely and with urgency.
Ability to take instructions and work with little supervision.
Committed to doing quality work and strives to improve every day.
Must have solid work attendance and be reliable.

Responsibilities

Use materials to secure pontoon boats to outbound trailers.
Complete required work assigned for the day including following written work instructions, verbal instructions, and other tasks as assigned in support of boat production and shipping needs.
Work outdoors in all elements, in and out of boats, and on and off of semi-trailers as needed to support the loading and outbound shipping process.
Communicate with truck drivers before and after loading to ensure safety and proper tiedown procedures are followed.
Communicate and coordinate with production and service team members on what moves are needed next to support production, service, and shipping.
Assist in service and repair activities, some of which will be after regular work hours or on overtime including scheduled Weekends.
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly yard and work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
