About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves operating loader equipment safely to move, load, and organize materials, performing routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance, managing stockpiles, and supporting yard material flow. The position requires adherence to all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area, along with effective communication with team members to coordinate daily tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently
• Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to following procedures
• Capability to identify equipment issues and report them promptly
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team
• Reliability, attention to detail, and readiness to learn yard operations
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Responsibilities

• Operate loader equipment safely to move, load, and organize materials
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Manage stockpiles and support yard material flow
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks
